Did you recently purchase reusable cloth diapers or reusable training pants? Congrats! If you are wondering what to do next, do not worry! This is where this blog comes in handy.
First thing to think about is lets get these cute little fluffs ready to be used. You will want to start by "prepping" your diaper. These really is just to break in the fabric and make sure they are 100% sanitized and clean. This will allow the fabric to be as clean and clear of anything clogging the fibers. Clogged fibers will lead to it not being able to absorb all of your little ones "potty breaks".
To prep the diapers you will need to wash them 2-3 times with a cloth diaper safe laundry detergent. I will provide a list below of laundry detergents that I know are tried and true and 100% safe. When you are washing the diapers there is no need to dry them in-between. I set my washer on "drain and spin" in between just to give me piece of mind there isn't a whole bunch of water left siting in there. But its not 100% necessary. After those couple of cycles are complete let them air dry for at least 24 hours and they will be good to go!
